“Dubai Economy and Tourism launches ‘Invite from Dubai’ program with benefits for residents until the end of 2026”
The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has launched the “Invite from Dubai” program, which allows residents to invite their families and friends to visit the city and share its finest experiences. This initiative celebrates residents’ roles as the city’s best ambassadors and runs until October 31, 2026, granting exclusive benefits to residents of approximately 200 nationalities when they invite their families and friends to explore the city and enjoy its diverse experiences.
The program allows residents to take advantage of a range of exclusive benefits, including discounts of up to 45% on accommodation, along with hotel credits equivalent to the full cost of the stay at a number of participating hotels. These include W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Meliá Desert Palm, ME Dubai by Meliá, as well as IHG Hotels & Resorts properties in Dubai.
Additionally, the program provides competitive advantages at some of the city’s top entertainment destinations, including Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure, and Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark. It also covers a variety of restaurants and cafes, such as Asia Asia, Ula, Papa’s, The 305, and Lock, Stock & Barrel.
Furthermore, the Careem app is offering a free Careem Plus membership, along with discounts on Hala Taxi rides and other services.
All of these offers can be availed until December 31, 2026, allowing residents to enjoy these benefits even after their guests have departed.
Noor Al Geziry, Assistant Vice President for the MEA Region and Special Projects at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, stated that Dubai residents, with their cultural diversity, have always been among the city’s most prominent ambassadors. They are the most capable of sharing their city experiences with their families and friends and encouraging them to visit. The “Invite from Dubai” program comes in appreciation of this role, celebrating residents who contribute to showcasing the exceptional experiences the city offers through their personal stories.
She added that this initiative reflects Dubai’s ambition to consolidate its position as the best city to live, work, and visit. It also aligns with the objectives of the “Year of the Family” in the UAE. In cooperation with partners in both the public and private sectors, DET is delighted to express its gratitude to this important segment of society through this initiative.
Residents hosting guests between July 20 and October 31, 2026, can register them through the program’s official platform by September 30 to benefit from its advantages.
The arrival of visitors will subsequently be confirmed through a unified verification process supported by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai.
Upon completion of the verification process, residents will be able to unlock a suite of perks offered by participating hotels, entertainment venues, restaurants, and lifestyle destinations across the city.
Each resident can claim a maximum of three approved benefits throughout the program’s duration, with one benefit granted per group of guests
